About Us Little Living is a non-profit developing small, thoughtfully designed cottage-style homes in a village that are permanently affordable for working individuals, seniors, and veterans.
We acquire land, secure local regulatory approvals, raise private and foundation funding, and build high-quality homes without profit or overhead; their smaller size and energy-efficient design reduce construction and operating costs—allowing rents to remain below market without ongoing subsidies.
Each Little Living community is locally managed, designed to fit its surroundings, and built to provide long-term stability, dignity, and a true sense of home for residents who want to live and work in the community they serve.
