The Milford Museum is participating in the 2026 DoMore24 Delaware fundraising event! This fundraiser is to support the Milford Museum's educational public programming and events that help preserve and share the history of Milford and its surrounding areas. With your contribution, we can fulfill our mission to preserve the past for the future.

In 2023, the Milford Museum began an American History Lecture Series which has become very popular.  Held the second Saturday of each month at the Milford Library, the series has drawn more than 3,000 people to the 30+ programs that have been held so far.  In the past few years, the Milford Museum started two online features -  "This Month in Milford History" and "Throwback Thursday" posts on social media.  The Milford Museum has also headed into the classroom with Traveling Trunk program. This program, structured for elementary school students, provides kids with the opportunity to compare everyday items from the past with today's mostly electronic world.     

With your help, we can ensure that our upcoming programming , both online and in-person, will better serve our community by sharing the history of Milford in a fun and unique way.
