Support Newark Union Church & Cemetery and its mission of serving the Brandywine Hundred community in Delaware. The entire Newark Union Church & Cemetery is a cherished Brandywine Hundred historic site and hallowed burial ground.
This year, we need your help to reach our goal of $3000 for the purchase of 2 masonry benches, 2 contoured composite benches and 2 picnic tables for the Newark Union Church & Cemetery grounds. The 2 masonry benches will be for the Military Memorial in the center of the Cemetery. These will replace the benches currently in place that are worn and starting to deteriorate. The 2 contoured composite benches will be placed in the Newark Union Church yard in strategic places for viewing the displays in and near the Carriage House. The picnic tables will be placed in the Church yard next to the Church for use by families and groups that visit the site.
Your donation towards these projects will help enhance the Newark Union Church & Cemetery site.
We are so grateful to everyone who has been supporting us with encouragement and their personal resources. We look forward to making progress in our site beautification goals with your continued support.
