Support the historic Newark Union Church & Cemetery and its mission of serving the Brandywine Hundred community and Delaware. The entire Newark Union Church & Cemetery is a cherished Brandywine Hundred historic site and hallowed burial ground.

First, we want to say Thank You to everyone who supported our 2025 campaign which provided  eco-friendly composite benches  and picnic tables for the Church yard and 2 benches for the Military Memorial in the Cemetery.

This year, we need your help to reach our goal of $2500 for the purchase and installation of an Information Sign to be placed in front of the Log Cabin that will be built on the  Newark Union Church  grounds. The Log Cabin will be a representation of the poplar log Quaker Meetinghouse that was on the site from 1705-1755. The Sign will provide the historic references to the original structure and have pictures of the 1720 tavern from which the logs were recovered. This Information Sign will complement the other 3 signs located around the Church & Cemetery grounds that provide for self-guided tours by families and groups that visit the site.

Your donation towards this project will help enhance the historic Newark Union Church & Cemetery site.

We are so grateful to everyone who has been supporting us with encouragement and their personal resources.  We look forward to making progress in our site beautification goals with your continued support.
