Restoring Through Relationships

Organization Mission:

Pacem in Terris is a grassroots organization deeply committed to creating connections that foster peace within ourselves and our communities; we work together with our neighbors to restore and build community one relationship at a time. As a fully democratic, worker-led nonprofit, we operate from a lens of anti-oppression, equity, inclusion, and engagement. Our work is to build a power base within our community, where we can create our own solutions.

Pacem in Terris—a fully democratic, worker-led nonprofit—needs your support to help sustain deep, systemic change here in our Wilmington communities. As we have transformed our organizational structure and shifted to a hyper-local focus, we have felt the energy and impact of this important work along with our program participants; now's your chance to support our work on the ground level!

Our current programs are designed for community leaders and returning citizens in and around 19802 to develop skills in conflict resolution, peace making, and collective leadership. The results from our pilot program have been so powerful, everyone wants more training, more opportunities to learn and to lead. This is where you come in! With every donation, you are helping to level the playing field, investing in leadership opportunities for those who have historically lacked them.

Restoring Through Relationships, our intensive conflict resolution and peacebuilding training, is a paid opportunity for members of our community who want to become strong and trusted leaders in our movement to reduce violence in Wilmington. Your contribution will go directly to the equitable compensation of community participants, enriching their lives through both financially and educationally.
