PAWS for People is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of people in our community by lovingly providing individualized, therapeutic visits with our specially trained volunteers and their certified gentle, affectionate pets.

PAWS for People has been serving the community for over 16 years. Our volunteer pet therapy teams visit in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, libraries, cancer centers, and anywhere people in need would benefit from interaction with a gentle, affectionate pet.

PAWS Do More 24 DE campaign goals are to:

Raise funds to support our programs.
Introduce PAWS to new people who will become friends, donors and teams.

We are fortunate to have several generous PAWS supporters who will contribute $100 for each new donor up to $5,000.

PAWS never stopped helping people. Throughout the pandemic, PAWS maintained and strengthened our connections with our partners. We continue to meet people where they are, through virtual PAWS visits, video messages, cards and photos, in person socially distanced visits, and other COVID-safe ways to engage.

From literacy support in schools and libraries to hospice programs and cancer support, PAWS teams are doing more for Delawareans every day. Please help us continue to Do More in 2021 by supporting PAWS today… thank you!
