Mission: It is the mission of The Music School of Delaware to provide excellence in music education, training, and experiences for people of all ages and abilities.
The Music School of Delaware, founded in 1924, is the only statewide, accredited, community music school in the nation, serving residents of Delaware and beyond. A resource open to the public, the Music School employs nearly 90 expert educators and offers standard-setting instructional programs for people of all ages and abilities.
The Music School's robust outreach initiatives deliver standard-setting programming and unique music experiences directly to Delaware residents statewide - making art, culture, and a positive sense of community attainable for folks of all backgrounds.
Over 100 public performances each year, many of them free, offer opportunities to enjoy outstanding music in a variety of styles and genres.
A financial assistance program is available to ensure music excellence for everyone.
