About Impact Life

Mission: Impact Life is an innovative behavioral health organization whose mission is to build a solid foundation of recovery through unique recovery residences, peer support, workforce development, cultural and spiritual experiences, opportunities for peer leadership and service work projects for Delaware residents seeking help.

Impact Life offers peer-led recovery support services throughout the State of Delaware expanding through Cecil, and Harford County, in Maryland. In addition, we operate recovery residences independently, as well as in partnership with atTAcK addiction for those re-entering society post-residential treatment. We offer Outpatient therapy, Harm Reduction and Outreach services, a Workforce Development program featuring comprehensive recovery services, career development, expungement and pardon assistance, and peer support. In November of 2022, we launched Delaware’s first Recovery Farm, The Sanctuary at Impact Life Farm, which offers housing, case management, peer support, and animal-assisted therapy, coupled with a therapeutic agricultural workforce development program. We also operate a wellness and retreat center in Wilmington, and two resource centers, one in Glasgow, DE and one in Elsmere, DE.  Last year, we opened The Recovery Cafe in Wilmington, offering a healing and safe community for all who have been traumatized by addiction, mental health challenges, domestic violence, homelessness, and incarceration.  The Cafe provides resources and healthy relationships for stability and healing.  Impact Life staff are uniquely qualified to help our peers, over 90% of the staff have lived experiences and knowledge of addiction and recovery.  In 2024, Impact Life served 16,706 individuals through our programs.
