The mission of the ACLU of Delaware is to preserve and advance civil liberties and civil rights in the State of Delaware as enshrined in the United States and Delaware Constitutions through education and advocacy without consideration of political association.

I’m fundraising for ACLU of Delaware.

Dear friends, I am terrified. I know I'm not the only one who reads the latest piece of news and feels a combination of rage, helplessness, and hopelessness. This cyclone of terror is precisely why I volunteer with the ACLU of Delaware. I know that no matter how bad things get, the ACLU will never stop fighting for justice. When the administration threatens our constitutional rights, the ACLU is there with a lawsuit, and they frequently WIN.

Among so many other injustices and cruelties, the administration is throwing up roadblocks in order to limit who can vote. They want to dismantle our democracy from within by skewing the vote towards the ultra-conservatives.

To quote the ACLU, "The right to vote, and to have one’s vote accurately and fairly counted, is a fundamental right of all American citizens that underpins the rest of our civil liberties. That’s why we must ensure our election system is accessible and equitable."

The ACLU of Delaware is striving to secure fair voting for Delawareans. Goals include:
  •  Restoring voting rights after felony incarceration, allowing individuals to fully reintegrate into society.
  • Making early in-person voting and no-excuse absentee voting simpler and more easily accessible for working families, older adults, and people with disabilities.
  •  Implementing same-day voter registration
  • Enacting a State Voting Rights Act to expand access for voters with disabilities and limited English proficiency.

The ACLU cannot continue the fight alone. Please join me in helping fund the ACLU as they continue the brave work of righting so many wrongs.
