I’m Kenneth Frazier.

I’m fundraising for YMCA of Delaware.

For 85 years, the Walnut Street YMCA has been a pillar of strength, support, and opportunity in our community. As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we invite you to join us for 24 Hours of Impact, a special fundraiser dedicated to ensuring that our legacy of service continues for generations to come. This fundraiser is more than just a day of giving—it’s a celebration of the lives we’ve touched, the programs we’ve built, and the future we are shaping together. Every dollar raised will help expand youth programs, provide scholarships for families in need, and strengthen the resources that make the Walnut Street YMCA a home for so many. With your support, we can continue empowering our community—one gift at a time. Let’s honor 85 years of impact and build an even brighter future together!

About YMCA of Delaware

Mission: The YMCA of Delaware’s mission is to empower youth, foster healthy living, and promote strong communities. Our vision is a healthy, inclusive community where all people reach their full potential.

Established in 1889, the YMCA of Delaware impacts the lives of over 150,000 individuals each year through its 7 full-service branches, an urban youth development center, two outdoor recreation complexes, an overnight resident camp, and numerous school partnership sites across the state. We believe our community is strongest when everyone has access to opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

For more than 135 years, we've remained committed to empowering youth, fostering healthy living, and building stronger, more equitable communities throughout Delaware. Our programs address critical community needs by preventing chronic diseases like diabetes, promoting educational equity, and ensuring all Delawareans have access to transformative experiences. In 2024 alone, we provided more than $5.24 million in financial assistance, making life-changing YMCA services accessible to nearly 17,000 youth and adults statewide.
