Organization Mission:

The Wilmington Drama League, a diverse, inclusive nonprofit center for the performing arts, provides volunteers opportunities to use and develop their talents, serve the community, present high-quality theatrical productions, and nurture and educate a love of the arts in young people.

The Wilmington Drama League is thrilled to join the United Way of Delaware and Spur Impact in the statewide day of giving for 2023 in Delaware on March 2 -3. 

Wilmington Drama League’s Schedule of Events and Prizes: 

 ALL THOSE WHO DONATE DURING DO MORE 24  qualify for the producer level prizes (listed below) IN ADDITION to qualifying for the hourly prizes. You can give throughout the fundraiser and your grand total for the day will be your producer award level!!

Thursday, March 2nd

6 -7 PM

OPENING NIGHT Kickoff
Donate between 6 – 7 PM to help us earn an extra $500 Bonus!!

Super Early Bird Special!!
Anyone who donates $50 or more before 6:10 PM gets TWO tickets to any show for the remainder of our season - Boeing Boeing, Arcadia, Dreamgirls, or Freaky Friday - AND gets an automatic TWO entries into our grand prize drawing! 

Busy before 6:10? That’s OK! Anyone who donates between 6:11 and 6:59 PM will still receive TWO entries into our grand prize drawing!

The Grand Prize this year is TWO 8 Ticket season packages for our 2023-2024 season!! Grand Prize drawing will be held at 5:55 PM on 3/3  and winners will be announced LIVE on our Facebook page!

7 – 8 PM

CHRYSALIS HOUR and SIXTY MINUTE TICKET MANIA!

Our first of two featured Chrysalis events! This hour spotlights our Chrysalis wing of the Wilmington Drama League! All donations given during this hour will go directly to our Chrysalis division!

SIXTY MINUTE TICKET MANIA: We will be giving away TWO TICKETS TO ANY SHOW FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON EVERY 15 MINUTES!! 

ANYONE WHO DONATES ANY AMOUNT DURING THIS HOUR IS ELIGIBLE TO WIN!! 

 8 - 9 PM

HOUR GOAL! We are looking to raise $1000 to give between 8 and 9 PM. 

A generous anonymous donor has offered One  EIGHT TICKET PACKAGE for this season IF WE MAKE OUR GOAL DURING THIS HOUR!
Want to take 7 friends to see Boeing Boeing? Want to take three friends to see both Dreamgirls and Arcadia?  This is the prize for you!!

If we make our goal of $1000 during this hour, we will be giving ONE 8 Ticket package! Everyone who donates during this time will be entered to win!!

NIGHT OWL SPECIAL
Anyone who donates more than $20 during this time will automatically be entered in a raffle to win an AMAZING gift basket full of great prizes and WDL Merchandise!

Win a backstage tour!
Donate ANY amount between 10 – 11 am and be entered into a drawing to win a backstage/ behind the scenes tour of the Wilmington Drama League for you and friends. Learn all about our history and explore our theatre, backstage, costume loft and properties room! 


4 - 5 PM

CHRYSALIS HOUR

Our second featured event! This hour spotlights our Chrysalis wing of the Wilmington Drama League! Hear testimonials by our Chrysalis youth and learn all about our pillow plays! All donations given during this hour will go directly to our Chrysalis division!
