YWCA of Delaware
Organization Mission:
YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
YWCA Delaware leads critical social change and advocates for women, girls, and their families state-wide. Last year, we provided programming and services to over 7,000 Delawareans in the areas of economic empowerment, racial justice, domestic violence prevention, sexual assault crisis, youth empowerment, and emergency and transitional housing at our Home-Life Management Center.
We provided these vital housing and supportive services to 179 individuals last year, with 90% of our families achieving independent housing and self-sufficiency. With your help, we can continue to impact the lives of those who need it most. By signing up to give during the Do More 24 giving event, you can make a valuable contribution to our work in helping women and families move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
