Organization Mission:

We believe that child abuse can be prevented through effectively educating adults and children, developing the next generation of child welfare professionals, and strengthening child protection laws around the country.

Protecting our children in today's digital world is more crucial than ever. The online world can be a playground for predators. Every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, both offline and online. Help us reach our goal of $2500 to train 500 middle school students or parents on how to stay safe online. Alternatively, donate $500 and specify the location where you'd like us to conduct our training!

The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children® was founded in 2015 to honor Delaware's 44th Attorney General, Beau Biden, and his commitment to end violence against children.

We believe child abuse can be prevented by:
•   creating effective child abuse prevention education for adults and children; 
•   developing the next generation of child welfare professionals; 
•   and strengthening child protection laws around the country. 

The Foundation’s focus on child abuse prevention education helps:
•   youth-serving organizations assess and improve their child protection policies, procedures, and programming.
•   provide prevention training for adults to recognize and report child abuse (accredited by the Delaware Child Protection Accountability Commission and approved by the Delaware Department of Education).
•   to educate children in good digital citizenship, Internet safety, and bullying prevention.
