The Mission of the Cape Henlopen Senior Center is to support adults, fifty and over, to lead their best lives. The Vision is defined in four major areas: 1) to be the clearing house for information and referrals pertinent to older adults; 2) to be a central asset for recreational and social activities; 3) to enhance physical and emotional well-being; and 4) to combat the harmful effects of isolation as people age.

The Senior Center supports adults 50 and over to lead better lives. We provide information and services pertinent to ALL older adults. We enhance physical and emotional well being to combat the harmful effects of isolation as people age.
Our present location on Christian Street reverts to the City Of Rehoboth Beach very soon. We need to build a new home by 2027: we have the land; we have the plans; we need your donations to begin construction on a beautiful new facility that will serve thousands of Seniors for years to come!

Our purpose is to provide a warm, friendly, welcoming environment for our members to socialize, learn, share and explore new activities. We offer something for everyone. Art classes, woodcarving, yarners club, book club, ballroom and line dancing, card games, computer classes, bingo, billiards, fitness room, Tai Chi, Yoga, Sit and Get Fit, Yoga, trips and much much more.
