The future of art and design starts here at DCAD! Each year DCAD provides financial aid to over 90% of their full-time students. Many students need help "bridging the gap" between what financial aid can provide and what they can afford to pay. DCAD scholarship funds help support our students. Each and every dollar raised for scholarships makes a REAL difference here. Imagine, your $500 could make the difference in enabling a student to graduate. Please give today and support arts, education and downtown Wilmington!

About Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD)

Mission: Delaware College of Art and Design empowers emerging creatives to take artistic risks and engage with inclusive and diverse communities.

In 1996, Pratt Institute and the Corcoran College of Art and Design came together in an innovative partnership that formed the bedrock of Delaware College of Art and Design, in response to an invitation by the Wilmington community to establish Delaware’s only art and design school. Pratt Institute in New York City and the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. are two of America’s oldest and most distinguished visual arts colleges, and, through this partnership, helped create the foundation for the Delaware College of Art and Design.

Now operating as an independent institution, an education at DCAD provides one of the richest opportunities available in American art and design education today.

Student artists and designers at the Delaware College of Art and Design show work every day. Every week brings new assignments and new pieces covering the 7,120 square feet in DCAD’s hallways, classrooms and studios. Qualified graduates of the two-year Associate of Fine Arts Degree at DCAD have the opportunity to complete their BFA at a multitude of art and design colleges across the globe.
