We at Delaware ChoralArts, know that you love great choral music as much as we enjoy bringing this wonderful music to you. YOUR SUPPORT OF THE ARTS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER.

In 2017, the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice published the findings of the Social Impact of the Arts Project. This groundbreaking research documented how the arts improve the community’s quality of life and confirmed the “power of art to shape communities and improve lives”. Delaware ChoralArts strives to harness this power in the greater Wilmington community, but it is only through YOUR generous support that organizations like Delaware ChoralArts can survive and thrive. Please join with other lovers of great choral literature by lending your financial support – in any amount - to Delaware ChoralArts so that we can continue to inspire and engage persons from all walks of life with inspiring performances of great choral masterworks.

About Delaware ChoralArts

Mission: A professional-caliber community chorus, Delaware ChoralArts serves the greater Wilmington area by: presenting performances of great choral literature; cultivating talented singers through professional development and preparation; and nurturing the art of choral music through scholarships, commissions, and showcases.

Known for its expressive singing, varied and diverse programming, and its ability to produce a thrilling “wall of sound,” Delaware ChoralArts (DCA) has brought a rich palate of choral music to the region since its beginnings in 1984. DCA strives to nurture and develop young people’s appreciation of the choral art through its competition for young composers and now through its “side-by-side” collaboration with high school students as well as its frequent collaboration with the Wilmington Children’s Chorus. DCA is run by a dedicated Board of Directors made up of members of the chorale along with support from members of the community who serve in an advisory capacity.

Funding for DCA comes from a number of sources including generous grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts and a growing number of enthusiastic Patrons, fund raising projects and ticket and ad sales.

This organization is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
