The Delaware Symphony Orchestra is mid-way through our 118th season!

The remainder of our season includes two Classics Series (full-orchestra performances) one of which presented in both Wilmington and Lewes (A John Williams Celebration); the other in Wilmington only (Amado Conducts Mahler).

Previously this season, we presented three Classics Series concerts — Sky, Sea and Rhapsody, ¡Música Bravo!, and From Home to Rome, which featured three guest artists, two guest conductors, and Music Director Laureate, David Amado.

Our three previous Chamber concerts (more intimate performances of smaller musical ensembles) highlighted Percussionists of the DSO; a holiday-themed performance at the Gold Ballroom; and Music of the African Diaspora. We also hosted two Community Concerts at Howard High School and Christina Cultural Arts Center in Wilmington, which were free and open to the public.

In May, the DSO is hosting an interactive educational concert of orchestra and a beatbox/hip hop artist for school-age children in Wilmington and Dover.

Your support is as imperative, as we continue to create exciting live music performances; develop educational outreach events and partnerships; and continue to evolve conventional perception of the orchestral experience.

We hope you will continue supporting our efforts with a gift during Do More 24!

About Delaware Symphony Orchestra

Mission: The Delaware Symphony Orchestra enriches lives through inspiring musical performances.

The DSO is the state's only professional orchestra. We strive to provide the highest quality classical music experiences statewide and throughout the Brandywine Valley.

Inspired by our organizational Vision Statement — Music Uniting Delaware - to inspire, enrich, and connect diverse audiences and communities throughout Delaware and beyond — we continue to create programming and performances that are more diverse, accessible, and welcoming for all to enjoy.

Whether in a concert hall or a classroom, our goal is to provide an inclusive environment with music that engages, entertains, and inspires all in attendance.
