At Fresh Start, it is our mission to provide a safe place for citizens of Smyrna and the surrounding areas to receive information about available resources and needs which would support a positive lifestyle. We are dedicated to helping veterans, disabled, reentering citizens, abused, anyone suffering from addiction and all people that need support meeting their basic needs. Our goal is provide support to our neighbors who have barriers that are keeping them from leading self-supporting lives.

Support Fresh Start Resource Center and its mission to serve communities in Delaware. We have an urgent need in our community and we help people who are hungry, in immediate danger of losing utilities or housing and those who are already homeless. Many of our clients are Veterans, Disabled, Elderly or otherwise compromised and urgently need our help!

Founded in 2018, Fresh Start has been working tirelessly to help those in need. We offer food, clothing, personal needs, transportation, emergency shelter via motel rooms, rent and utility assistance as available funds permit, as well as resource information, case management, computer & printer access.
