Over the past 36 years, FOSCL has funded a vast array of resources, equipment, and programs for the South Coastal Library. This includes substantial additions to its book collection (print and e-book), computers, furniture, patron access to Ancestry.com and Newspapers.com, classes ranging from jewelry making to yoga, guest speakers, story times, summer reading programs and much, much more. Major capital initiatives have provided substantial funding for constructing the current library facility in 1994 and financing an expansion in 2009 that added a large meeting area, children’s room, and “teen central.”
You may know us from our primary fundraiser, the annual Beach & Bay Cottage Tour. We also hold monthly book sales, participate in many events in the Bethany area and occasionally run Dine & Donate programs. We hope that you will take full advantage of all that the South Coastal Library has to offer and support FOSCL with a financial donation. With your help, we can ensure the South Coastal Library continues to be a vibrant community center of lifelong learners.
