What if every time we planted a seed a life was improved, a goal was achieved, someone believed, a life was changed, and our communities became stronger?
Your gifts, financial, time, and talent, to the Fund for Women help us plant the seeds that enable brighter tomorrows for Women and Girls in Delaware.
The Fund for Women is an endowment held at the Delaware Community Foundation. Each year a portion of the value of the endowment, which is nearly $5 Million, is granted to nonprofit programs serving women and girls in Delaware.
In 2023, the FFW awarded $249,575 to 18 nonprofits. While we are proud of the many ways in which we have supported women and girls in Delaware for more than 30 years, the need remains strong.
Right now, women right here in Delaware have never been more vulnerable and are at increased risk for domestic violence, job loss and instability. Many women are struggling to feed their families and ensure their children have access to education. And this vulnerability, even though we often cannot see it, affects us all. Please help us continue to make a difference in the lives of Delaware’s women and girls and give today.
