Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County - Do More 24 Delaware 2026

Organization Mission:

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Empowering Families. Strengthening Communities. Building Home.
A safe home changes everything.
At Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County, we believe in empowerment - a hand up, not a handout. Families partner with us, work toward their goals, and build brighter futures through affordable homeownership, rental to ownership, critical home repairs, and neighborhood revitalization.
In 2025, more than 700 local families gained safer housing, renewed stability, and hope for the future because of supporters like you.
Single father Jamal A. is one of them. After working through our Almost Home program, he will soon become a homeowner at Sankofa Place creating the stability he has always wanted for his two sons.
Your gift today helps families build strength, independence, and lasting change.  Hear what Lovie Gray has to say.
