~ To promote and share an appreciation and awareness of the Italian-American Heritage. ~ To develop an awareness of the contributions of Italians and Italian-Americans to the history and culture of the United States of America and the world. ~ To sponsor artistic, cultural, social, and educational activities relating to Italian origin. ~ To promote goodwill and a greater understanding of the origins and underlying values of Italian-American culture and heritage. ~ To develop a greater sense of pride in Italian-American culture and heritage. ~ To foster the principles of integrity, honesty, trust, and transparency among members of the Club and members of the community.

The Italian American Heritage Foundation of Sussex County Delaware is an organization made up of adults either born in Italy or descendants of those of Italian lineage. We maintain our Italian culture and heritage with remembering our past and promoting our future endeavors with others during our monthly meetings and fund raising events. 
 
Our goals include giving back to our local community and providing assistance to various organizations annually. During the short time we have been in existence, we have made a positive impact with numerous children and adults. Some of the organizations we have supported and will continue to support include:

Cape Henlopen Food Basket
Home of the Brave
Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding
