This year, every dollar you give to support our adult literacy learners will go twice as far! Thanks to a generous donor, all gifts will be matched up to $1,200. Your $25 donation becomes $50 and your $50 becomes $100.
Literacy Delaware assists adult learners throughout the state each year, who read at or below a 5th grade reading level and/or who do not speak English, to significantly improve their literacy skills, empowering them to succeed. Since 1983, we have helped 3000 adults in Delaware to speak, read, and succeed!
Literacy Delaware trains and supports volunteer tutors on whom we rely to deliver our programming, which is targeted to the goals of participants, leading to greater achievement of goals, which we measure throughout participants' instruction. We are proud that our learners achieve 90+% of their goals throughout the year.
