Pacem in Terris

Pacem in Terris is a grassroots organization deeply committed to creating connections that foster peace within ourselves and our communities; we work together with our neighbors to restore and build community one relationship at a time. As a fully democratic, worker-led nonprofit, we operate from a lens of anti-oppression, equity, inclusion, and engagement. Our work is to build a power base within our community, where we can create our own solutions.

Pacem in Terris needs your help to meet the huge demand for our Arts for Peace programming!

At this year's 9th annual Visionary Peace Youth Art Exhibition, we had over 500 students from 32 schools contribute artwork. The exhibition was such a success that we expanded the time to include a 1 hour low sensory experience. Over 400 people visited the Wilmington Public Library during the inspiring 3 hour event.

Our youth’s messages of peace are powerful reminders of the hope that we have in our next generation, and we invite you to help us grow their impact! Every year, our Traveling Peace Youth Art Exhibition is seen by over 170,000 people across Delaware. We can engage more schools, lift up the voices of more youth, and start more conversations about peace and justice with every dollar you contribute.
