Every child deserves to succeed but success does not come easily to every child. At Pilot, children come to us with a myriad of challenges and we address each one differently. Our customized, direct instruction is different from "extra support" offered at other schools and it readies our graduates for success in high school and life. All therapeutic support, whether it be speech, occupational, music, or physical therapy is incorporated into our students' day. Our approach works and there is not a child we know who would not benefit from this personalized education. It is also costly and we want to be able to offer tuition aid assistance to all families who qualify for this help.
All money raised during this campaign will go to Pilot's Tuition Aid program.
About Pilot School
Mission: Pilot School's mission is to uncover the unique educational challenges of each student and to give each child the specific developmental tools, guidance, and attention needed to learn, achieve, and ultimately to feel comfortable and be successful in the academic environment that is most appropriate.
What is different about a Pilot School education? We serve children ages 4-14 who have been diagnosed with language-based learning differences , including dyslexia, dycalculia, dysgraphia, executive functioning disorder, ADHD, and auditory processing delays. We provide a customized education tailored to each child's specific needs. With a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio, seven different on-site educational specialists and therapists, and an ongoing evaluation of each student's needs and progress, Pilot School graduates are confident, secure students, who know how they learn.
