Support South Coastal Village Volunteers in our mission to help older adults continue to live independently in the Bethany Beach, South Bethany, Millville and Ocean View Delaware areas.  Our 150 caring volunteers average 200 services to our 88 members every month, including transportation, running errands, navigating technology, helping with small tasks, making friendly visits and more!  Your donation enables us to continue to grow our services and help even more deserving seniors. 

Your donation enables us to meet the ever-increasing demand for services and ensure no senior is denied support including subsidized memberships, social and educational programs, health and wellness activities, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, friendly visits and respite for caregivers.
 
We serve seniors in Bethany Beach, Millville, Ocean View, and South Bethany and, through your donations, offer subsidized memberships to low-income seniors in our service area and are a branch of the Greater Lewes Community Village, known as Village Volunteers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Lewes, Delaware. 

Providing Volunteer Services and Bringing People Together

Since we opened our doors in 2021, we have provided over 7,000 member services and over 13,000 volunteer hours in support of our members.  Services include transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, running errands, help with small household tasks, technology support, friendly visits and wellness checks.  Every volunteer is fully vetted, has completed a thorough background check and provided hands-on training. Volunteers select when and how they want to volunteer.
 
 Our programs educate, entertain and engage our members on a wide variety of topics of interest to older adults.  These programs bring our members out of their homes in safe and friendly settings to socialize and connect with other members of the South Coastal Village community.
