Our focus is on youth development rather than competition. There are no tryouts. There is no pressure to perform. No one sits on the bench. Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate. The Delaware League is committed to providing opportunities to all families in need, no matter their financial status. The League's core initiatives such as, Girls Riding Together (nationalmtb.org/grit), Teen Trail Corps (nationalmtb.org/teen-trail-corps) and NICA Pathfinders scholarships provide team-based activities and resources to increase gender and racial diversity across the organization.
The Delaware Interscholastic Cycling League was established in 2022 and is a chapter of NICA the National Interscholastic Cycling League. NICA currently supports 32 state leagues serving over 30,000 student athletes annually.

The Delaware Interscholastic Mountain Biking League is responsible for raising funding for all statewide programming, team development, coach training, event production, fundraising, outreach, and growth. We understand that the League (as a chapter of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association) is charting the course nationally with its targeted initiative to continue breaking down barriers and making biking accessible to all youth across the state.
