Organization Mission:

The Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence is a statewide, nonprofit organization and coalition of organizations, groups, and individuals that strive to promote conditions that prevent and eliminate domestic violence by educating its members and community partners; providing informational resources to the community; and advocating as a strong, unified voice for victims/survivors of domestic violence, children who are affected, domestic violence programs and victim service providers.

Support the work of our Task Forces! DCADV's task forces are here to offer support to survivors, provide awareness and outreach of services, educate the general public, and advocate for policies that are important here in Delaware.  They need your support to continue this work!

Women of Color Task Force
The Women of Color Task Force (WOCTF) works to increase public awareness of domestic violence and available resources – especially in communities of color – through education/training, advocacy, and support. 

In its 26th consistent year of service, the WOCTF continues to meet monthly and participate in many outreach and awareness events throughout the state. The task force has made special DV projects centered around Latinx and Immigrant issues a priority.  The WOCTF has stayed involved with faith based institutions, continues collaborative activities with HBCUs and just hosted a successful event - "Curtailing Domestic Violence Through Tales of Survivors" in January.

Women Empowered Against Violence in Every Relationship (WEAVER)
The WEAVER Task Force is composed of survivors who are dedicated to educating the community and advocating for systemic change. By sharing personal experiences, members highlight the importance of support services for survivors and engage the community in conversations about domestic violence. WEAVER has made impressive strides in its mission to educate, advocate, and support survivors of intimate partner violence. Through community outreach, educational initiatives, and impactful advocacy, WEAVER members have solidified their role as essential voices in the fight for better services and policies for survivors.
