Taylor Marshall Keen, MSN, CRNA, APRN
Taylor Marshall Keen, MSN, CRNA, APRN, dedicated her life to caring for others through the art and science of nurse anesthesia. Today, we invite you to help carry her legacy forward by supporting a scholarship in her name for future healthcare professionals connected to Delaware.

Taylor Marshall Keen devoted her career to providing calm, expert care in moments when patients needed it most. A graduate of the University of Delaware and Drexel University, Taylor practiced as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and later at Beebe Healthcare.

After bravely battling breast cancer, Taylor passed away in 2024. Yet her impact lives on in every patient she cared for, every colleague she supported, and every aspiring healthcare professional she inspired.

Through the Delaware Institute for Healthcare Education Advancement (DIHEA), we are establishing the Taylor Marshall Keen CRNA Scholarship to:

  • Encourage students pursuing careers in healthcare
  • Prioritize Delaware residents or students completing clinical training in Delaware
  • Help reduce financial barriers that often challenge healthcare trainees

This scholarship will be uniquely designed to reflect Taylor’s dedication, excellence, and commitment to community. As we are currently in the founding phase, award amount and criteria will be finalized once fundraising goals are met.

Every gift helps build opportunity for the next generation of healthcare providers who will serve Delaware families just as Taylor did.

About Delaware Institute for Healthcare Education Advancement

Mission: Our mission is to encourage Delawareans to pursue education in healthcare by giving scholarships to each winner to spend anyway they want especially on self-care.

The Delaware Institute for Healthcare Education Advancement (DIHEA) was founded and funded by clinicians in Delaware. Our mission is to inspire Delawareans to pursue education in healthcare.

In 2025, eleven outstanding scholars have each been awarded funding to help offset the real-life costs of pursuing a career in healthcare. From transportation and uniforms to licensure testing fees and even that much-needed cup of coffee, these awards are designed to meet students where they are—on their terms.

Our scholars embody resilience, compassion, and dedication as they pursue their journey to become the healthcare providers of tomorrow.   We eagerly look forward to having them as a colleague in healthcare and serving the communities of Delaware.
